Itinerary
Day 1 Sacred Valley Tour with Maras and Moray 1Day
We will pick you up early in the morning from your hotel in Cusco and travel through the breathtaking Sacred Valley of the Incas.
First, we will visit Chinchero to explore its archaeological site and discover traditional Andean weaving techniques at a local textile center.
Next, we will continue to Moray, the remarkable Inca agricultural laboratory, where the Incas experimented with different microclimates to improve their crops. Then, we will visit the impressive Maras Salt Mines, where thousands of salt ponds have been harvested since pre-Inca times.
After that, we will enjoy a delicious buffet lunch in Urubamba before visiting the magnificent Ollantaytambo Archaeological Complex, one of the best-preserved Inca towns. In the afternoon, we will explore the spectacular terraces and temples of Pisac Archaeological Park, followed by free time at the colorful Pisac Artisan Market, where you can shop for local handicrafts and souvenirs.
Finally, we will return to Cusco at approximately 6:30 p.m., ending an unforgettable day exploring the history, culture, and breathtaking landscapes of the Sacred Valley.
