Overview
Visitors from all over the world come to Peru to take part in the great adventure of the Inca Trail. This trek includes different ecological areas from high deserts to Andean tropical rain-forest.Following this ancient Inca Trail, along the trek we will past archaeological sites and finally arriving to the lost city of the Incas, Machu Picchu.

Itinerary
Day 1 Cusco I Capuliyoc - Chiquisca - Playa Rosalinas - Santa Rosa
We will pick you up early from your hotel and drive for 4-5 hours in our private transport to Capuliyoc (2,890 m /9,482 ft). On the way , we will have a short stop for breakfast. Then, we will continue to Capuliyoc. Along the way there are spectacular views of villages, valleys and snow-capped mountains. Once at Capuliyoc, we will meet our horsemen and horses and pack all our equipment onto the horses. You will carry a small daypack with the essentials you will need on the trail. Then, we will start walking all the way down for about four hours through the Apurimac Canyon to Playa Rosalinas ( 1,475 m / 4,840 ft ) where we will have lunch . Along the way, you will get the first views of the Apurimac Canyon, one of the deepest canyons in Peru. After lunch, ascend for two more hours to our first campsite at Santa Rosa, (1900m/6234ft), where we will enjoy dinner and spend the night .
Day 2 Santa Rosa I Marampata – Choquequirao - Marampata
After an early breakfast we will walk uphill for about four hours to Marampata ( (2,900 m / 9,514 ft) where we will have lunch whilst enjoying the spectacular views of the canyon and snow- capped peaks. After a brief rest, we will hike for two more hours to the archaeological site of Choquequirao (3,050 m/10,007 ft) located in the deep canyon.
On this day ,we will explore all the most important sections of this incredible Inca site with plazas, temples , impressive platforms, llamas’s section and more. It was one of the last Inca cities built in the cloud forest.We will have lunch at noon and have time to rest.
Finally , we will return to our campsite at Marampata for dinner and spend the night.
Day 3 Marampata I Santa Rosa - Playa Rosalinas - Chiquisca
After breakfast, we will descend to the magnificent Apurimac River (1,550m/5,117ft) , a walk of about two hours until we reach Santa Rosa ( 1,970 m / 6,463 ft ), lunch point.. After lunch , we will continue our descent to Playa Rosalinas and dip our feet and freshen up in the cold waters of Apurimac River. Finally, we will walk uphill for about 2 hour to our third campsite at Chiquisca (1,900 m / 6,234 ft). where we will spend the night and enjoy dinner.
Day 4 Chiquisca I Capuliyoc - Saywite - Cusco
After a delicious breakfast, walk up a moderately difficult hill towards the Capuliyoc Pass. Once there, enjoy the spectacular views of the surrounding mountains and the Apurimac Canyon. Then we take our transport to Cachora (2,850m/9,407ft) for lunch. Afterward we take our private transport to the archeological site of Saywite taking plenty of time to explore. Finally, our van will take us back to Cusco to the hotel, arriving in the evening, around 6pm.
On the final day, wake up early and enjoy the last breakfast with your team. Then, prepare for the last 4-hour trek uphill to Capuliyoc. where our transport will be waiting for us .Then, we will head to Cachora (2,850m/9,407ft) for lunch. After lunch, say goodbye to all our trekking team that accompanied you on this expedition. On the way back to Cusco, we will visit the archaeological site of Saywite (3,500 m / 11,483 ft) ,a great mysterious rock believed to be the complex irrigation system of the region.
Finally, we will return to Cusco and drop off at your hotel around 6:00 pm.
