Day 1 Arrival in Lima – Transfer to the Hotel

Arrive at any time. Upon your arrival at Lima Airport, our representative will be waiting to welcome you, holding a sign with your name. You will then be transferred to your hotel.

No activities are scheduled for today, allowing you time to relax, recover from your journey, and prepare for your Peru adventure.

Day 2 Lima City Tour – Colonial and Contemporary

At the scheduled time, we will pick you up from your hotel to begin your city tour of Lima.

We will visit the historic city center and explore the remarkable architectural landmarks surrounding the Main Square, including the Cathedral of Lima, the tomb of Francisco Pizarro, the catacombs of the San Francisco Monastery, the National Congress, and the Government Palace.

Afterward, we will continue to the modern districts of San Isidro and Miraflores, where you will enjoy beautiful views of the Pacific Ocean.

Day 3 Fly Lima to Arequipa and City Tour

Upon arrival, our representative will transfer you to your selected hotel, where you can rest and acclimatize to the altitude before beginning your city tour.

In the afternoon, at the scheduled time, we will pick you up from your hotel to begin the city tour. We will visit the Mirador de Carmen Alto and Yanahuara, two scenic viewpoints that offer spectacular views of the city with the majestic Misti Volcano as a backdrop.

We will then continue to the Plaza de Armas, where you will admire the Cathedral while learning about the city’s history. You will also appreciate the bronze fountain and the beautiful colonial arches and porticoes that surround the square.

We will end the tour with a visit to the Monastery of Santa Catalina, an outstanding example of colonial architecture and a historic religious convent.

Day 4 Arequipa- Colca Canyon - Chivay

At the scheduled time, we will pick you up from your hotel and take you on an incredible four-hour journey to Chivay through the Andes, with breathtaking views of Chachani Volcano.

Along the way, we will stop at the Pampa Cañahuas National Reserve to observe South American camelids, including vicuñas, alpacas, and llamas, grazing freely in their natural habitat. We will then continue to the Patapampa Viewpoint (4,910 m.a.s.l.), the highest point of the journey, where you can admire the volcanoes that surround the Arequipa region.

Afterward, we will descend through the Colca Canyon to Chivay for lunch, followed by a transfer to your hotel.

In the afternoon, you will have the option to visit the La Calera Hot Springs, where you can relax in natural thermal waters with temperatures reaching up to 40°C (104°F). This optional excursion is the perfect way to unwind before the exciting day ahead.

Day 5 Chivay - Colca Canyon - Puno

After an early breakfast, we will depart for the Cruz del Cóndor Viewpoint, the most spectacular viewpoint in the Colca Canyon. Along the way, we will stop at several scenic viewpoints, including Peña Blanca, Antahuilque, Choquetico, and Huayra Punku, to admire the breathtaking landscapes of the Colca Valley.

At Cruz del Cóndor, you will witness the majestic flight of the Andean condor over one of the deepest canyons in the world. We will also visit the Tapay Viewpoint, another excellent location for observing condors while enjoying the canyon’s stunning scenery.

On the return journey to Chivay, we will visit the picturesque villages of Maca and Yanque, known for their colonial churches and residents dressed in traditional Andean attire.

Around midday, we will arrive in Chivay for lunch before continuing our journey to Puno. Along the route, you will enjoy beautiful Andean landscapes, including stone forests, high-altitude lagoons teeming with birdlife, traditional villages, and the town of Imata.

We will also make a brief stop at Lagunillas Lagoon to admire the scenery and observe the local flora and fauna. After approximately six hours of travel, we will arrive in Puno, where you will be transferred to your selected hotel.

Day 6 Lake Titicaca – Puno

We will pick you up from your hotel in Puno and transfer you to the local port, where we will board a motorboat to begin our journey across Lake Titicaca.

Our first stop will be the Uros Floating Islands, unique man-made islands built entirely from totora reeds and inhabited by local families who also use handcrafted reed boats for transportation.

We will then continue to Taquile Island, renowned for its vibrant handwoven textiles, rich cultural traditions, and stunning views of the lake. Here, we will enjoy a typical local lunch before exploring some of the island’s hills and archaeological sites.

In the afternoon, we will return by boat to the port of Puno, concluding our Lake Titicaca tour. Upon arrival, you will be transferred back to your hotel.

Day 7 Puno - Cusco by bus tour

We will pick you up from your hotel and transfer to the bus station in the Puno terminal.

Our journey begins along the Route of the Sun, a scenic route connecting Puno with the historic Inca city of Cusco.

Along the way, we will cross La Raya Pass (4,319 m / 14,170 ft), the highest point between Puno and Cusco, where you can admire the snow-capped peaks of the Andes. We will then stop in the town of Sicuani to enjoy a buffet lunch.

Next, we will visit the Pukara Lithic Museum, home to a fascinating collection of pre-Inca artifacts, including stone sculptures and ceramics.

Our journey will continue to Raqchi, where we will explore the impressive Temple of Wiracocha, one of the most important archaeological sites of the Inca Empire. Later, we will visit the Church of Andahuaylillas, known as the “Sistine Chapel of America,” a beautiful colonial church adorned with remarkable religious artwork that reflects the fusion of Andean and Catholic traditions.

Upon arrival in Cusco, you will be transferred to your selected hotel.

Day 8 Cusco City Tour – Sacsayhuaman & Nearby Ruins

Enjoy a free morning at your leisure in Cusco. Take the opportunity to explore at your own pace, strolling through streets lined with Inca walls, visiting the vibrant San Pedro Market, the charming neighborhood of San Blas, or one of the city’s fascinating museums.

In the afternoon, the City Tour begins with a guided visit through Cusco’s most important sites: the historic Cusco Cathedral, the ancient Inca temple Qorikancha and the nearby ruins surrounding the city, including the impressive fortress of Sacsayhuamán, the ceremonial center of Q’enqo, the military checkpoint Puka Pukara, and the water temple of Tambomachay. At the end of the tour, we return to your hotel.

Day 9 Maras – Moray – Chinchero - Cusco

We will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco. The tour begins with a one-hour drive to Moray, where you will explore the remarkable circular terraces used by the Incas for agricultural experimentation. These terraces created different microclimates, allowing the Incas to test and adapt crops to various environmental conditions.

Next, we will continue to Maras, a charming Andean village with both Inca and colonial heritage. Nearby, we will visit the famous Maras Salt Mines, a breathtaking complex of thousands of salt pools that have been in use since pre-Inca times. Local families continue to harvest salt here using traditional methods, preserving a centuries-old practice that remains alive today.

Our final stop will be Chinchero, a highland town renowned for its weaving traditions, Inca ruins, and stunning mountain scenery. Here, you will learn about traditional textile-making techniques, including the use of natural fibers and dyes. You will also visit the archaeological site while enjoying panoramic views of the surrounding valleys and peaks.

After the tour, we will return to Cusco and drop you off at your hotel.

Day 10 Sacred Valley – Pisaq – Ollantaytambo - Aguas Calientes

The Sacred Valley Tour begins with a hotel pickup in Cusco. Our first stop will be the Taray Viewpoint, where you will enjoy panoramic views of the Sacred Valley and the Urubamba River.

The journey continues to the Pisac Archaeological Site, where you will explore impressive Inca terraces, ceremonial areas, and ancient structures. Afterwards, you will have time to visit the Pisac Handicraft Market, known for its textiles, ceramics, jewelry, and traditional local crafts.

Following a buffet lunch in Urubamba, we will continue to Ollantaytambo, known as the “Last Living Inca City,” to explore its impressive fortress and archaeological remains.

At the end of the tour, you will head to the train station, where you will board the train to Aguas Calientes. Upon arrival, you will check in at your selected hotel and rest before your early visit to Machu Picchu.

Day 11 Machu Picchu - Cusco

Early in the morning, we will pick you up from your hotel and take the first buses up to Machu Picchu. This early departure allows you to enjoy the citadel with fewer crowds.

After approximately 35 minutes, you will arrive at the entrance and begin a guided tour of the Machu Picchu Inca Citadel, exploring its temples, plazas,  ancient stone structures , and other important sites while learning about its history and mysteries.

The guided visit lasts approximately two hours, followed by free time to explore the citadel at your own pace.

After your visit, you will take the bus down to Aguas Calientes for lunch. Then, you will board the train back to Ollantaytambo, where our representative will be waiting to pick you up and transfer you back to your hotel in Cusco. You will arrive at approximately 8:00 p.m.

Optional: Extend your stay in Aguas Calientes for an additional night to enjoy a second visit to Machu Picchu or hike nearby mountains such as Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu Mountain.

Day 12 Return Flight to Lima

After breakfast at your hotel, and at the previously arranged time, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Lima.
