Day 1 Lima City Tour - Half Day
At the scheduled time, we will pick you up from your hotel to begin your Lima city tour.
Our first stop will be the charming Plaza San Martín, a beautiful square where you will have the opportunity to take memorable photos of the surrounding architecture and enjoy its lively atmosphere.
From there, we will head to one of Lima’s most famous landmarks, the Monastery of San Francisco, renowned for its exquisite Baroque architecture and fascinating underground catacombs.
Our journey will continue to the majestic Plaza de Armas, the heart of Lima’s colonial history. Here, you will admire magnificent historic buildings, including the Government Palace and the iconic Lima Cathedral.
As we explore the Historic Center, your guide will introduce you to important landmarks such as Casa de Aliaga, sharing fascinating stories and insights into Lima’s rich history and its unique blend of colonial heritage and contemporary life.
On our way to the Miraflores district, we will pass by Huaca Pucllana, an impressive pre-Inca archaeological site located in the heart of the city. You will have the opportunity to admire this ancient adobe pyramid from the outside and learn about Lima’s fascinating pre-Columbian past.
Finally, we will enjoy stunning views of the Pacific Ocean as we pass by Love Park (Parque del Amor) and the scenic Miraflores boardwalk (Malecón), bringing our Lima city tour to a memorable close.
