Itinerary
Day 1 Lima – Ballestas Islands – Ica – Huacachina – Nazca
Your adventure begins early in the morning with pick-up from your hotel in Lima, followed by a scenic 3.5-hour journey south to Paracas.
Upon arrival, you will board a speedboat for an unforgettable excursion to the Ballestas Islands, where you will discover fascinating marine wildlife, dramatic coastal cliffs, and breathtaking natural landscapes. Along the way, you will also admire the mysterious Candelabra geoglyph, an enormous figure etched into the desert hillside overlooking the ocean.
After exploring the Ballestas Islands, we will continue to the Ica region, approximately 1.5 hours away, to visit a traditional Pisco winery. Here, you will learn about the history and traditions behind Peru’s famous Pisco during a guided winery tour and tasting experience. You will also have free time for lunch ( Not inclueded)
Next, we will travel approximately 40 minutes to Huacachina Oasis, one of Peru’s most iconic desert destinations. This beautiful oasis is surrounded by towering golden sand dunes and offers spectacular scenery. You will have time to explore the oasis and take memorable photographs before enjoying the highlight of the afternoon: an exciting dune buggy and sandboarding adventure. Ride across the impressive dunes, admire panoramic desert views, and experience the thrill of sliding down the sandy slopes.
After a full day of coastal wildlife, Pisco traditions, and desert adventure, we will continue to Nazca, where you will check in to your hotel and spend the night.
Day 2 Huacachina- Nasca Lines - Lima
After breakfast, we will pick you up from your hotel in Nazca and transfer you to the local airfield for a fascinating scenic flight over the mysterious Nazca Lines.
From the air, you will enjoy spectacular views of these extraordinary ancient geoglyphs, including iconic figures such as the Monkey, the Spider, the Hummingbird, and the Astronaut, along with many other remarkable designs etched into the desert landscape.
Following this experience, we will transfer you back to your hotel in Nazca. You will have free time to relax and enjoy lunch before preparing for your return journey to Lima. Please note that lunch is not included.
In the afternoon, we will transfer you to the Nazca bus terminal, where you will board a Cruz del Sur bus to Lima. The journey takes several hours, and arrival in Lima is expected at approximately 9:00 p.m..
Upon arrival in Lima, our transportation service will be waiting to transfer you to your hotel, bringing your 2-day, 1-night adventure along Peru’s southern coast to a memorable end.

How Long Does This 2-Day Tour from Lima Last?
This is a 2-day, 1-night tour departing from Lima early on Day 1 and returning in the evening of Day 2. Each day involves approximately 14 to 15 hours of activities and travel time, allowing you to explore the Ballestas Islands, enjoy the Huacachina desert adventure, and fly over the mysterious Nazca Lines.
We recommend wearing lightweight, comfortable clothing and bringing sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat to enjoy your Huacachina desert adventure.
