Early morning pickup from your hotel in Cusco. We travel through the beautiful Sacred Valley, passing traditional Andean villages and spectacular mountain landscapes on our way to the community of Socma, the starting point of our hike.

Upon arrival, we begin a scenic walk to the stunning Perolniyoc Waterfall, one of the hidden gems of the Sacred Valley. After approximately 30 minutes of hiking, we reach the waterfall, where crystal-clear waters plunge down a dramatic cliff surrounded by lush vegetation and breathtaking scenery. Here, you will have time to enjoy the views, take photographs, and appreciate the peaceful atmosphere.

Continuing uphill, we hike for about 45 minutes to the fascinating archaeological site of Raqaypata, an ancient Inca settlement strategically located above the valley. During a guided tour, you will learn about its history, architecture, and importance within the Inca road system while enjoying panoramic views of the surrounding mountains.

After exploring the site, we enjoy a delicious box lunch before continuing our journey to the mystical Ñaupa Iglesia, one of the most enigmatic spiritual sites in the Sacred Valley. This sacred place is believed to have played an important role in Inca astronomy, ceremonies, and spiritual practices. Your guide will explain the significance of its finely carved stone structures and the mysteries that still surround the site today.

Following our visit, we transfer to Ollantaytambo, where you will have time to explore this charming Inca town before boarding the train to Aguas Calientes. Upon arrival, you will check into your hotel and enjoy dinner before preparing for the highlight of your journey the following day.

Day 2 Aguas Calientes – Machu Picchu – Cusco

After an early breakfast, we take the shuttle bus up to the magnificent Machu Picchu, one of the New Seven Wonders of the World and the most iconic archaeological site in South America.

Upon arrival, your expert guide will lead a comprehensive tour through the most important sectors of the citadel. Discover the fascinating history of the Incas as you explore temples, ceremonial centers, agricultural terraces, plazas, and sacred structures while learning about the engineering and cultural achievements of this remarkable civilization.

During the guided tour, you will enjoy spectacular views of the surrounding mountains and have plenty of opportunities to take memorable photographs. Afterward, you will have free time to explore designated areas of the site and absorb the magical atmosphere of this ancient wonder.

Later, we return by bus to Aguas Calientes, where you will have free time for lunch before boarding the train back to Ollantaytambo. From there, private transportation will take you back to your hotel in Cusco. Arriving around 8:00 pm.

The dry season (April to October) offers the best weather and trail conditions. The route can be visited year-round, although rain is more common between November and March.
