Day 1 Lima City Tour - Half Day
At schedule time we will pick you from your hotel .Our first stop will be at the charming Plaza San Martín, a beautiful square where you’ll have the opportunity to capture some memorable photos of the surrounding architecture and lively atmosphere.
From there, we will head to one of Lima’s most famous landmarks: the San Francisco Monastery,known for its exquisite baroque architecture and its catacombs.Our journey continues at the majestic Plaza de Armas, the centerpiece of Lima’s colonial history. Here, you’ll admire grand colonial buildings like the Government Palace and the iconic Lima Cathedral.
As we walk through the historic center, your guide will take you past key landmarks such as Casa de Aliaga, sharing the stories behind them and offering a deeper understanding of Lima’s unique fusion of colonial and contemporary elements.
On our way back to Lima center, we’ll pass by Huaca Pucllana. This ancient pre-Incan pyramid, located in the heart of the vibrant Miraflores district, is an intriguing reminder of Lima’s pre-Columbian past, which you’ll get to observe from the outside.
Finally, before this Lima city tour concludes, you will get to enjoy beautiful views over the Pacific Ocean as we pass by Parque del Amor and the Malecón.
