Early in the morning  at 5:00 am  we will pick you  up from your hotel to start our adventure to Wakra Pukara. Then we will go on a two-hour drive to the town of Cusipata , where we will have breakfast. Next , we will continue our journey for one  hour and half of driving along an unpaved road to the trailhead in Santa Lucia town. From here we will start walking  across a flat road  with slight descents and ascents for about two hours toward the Waqrapukara fortress (4,300 m /14,107 ft)  Observing the stunning canyon landscape and the beautiful Pomacanchi Lagoon along the way. Once we arrive at the Waqrapukara archaeological complex , you will have time to  explore the temple remains and taking photos with background of the canyon scenery.Wakra Pukara involves enigmatic pre-Inca and Inca structures, terraces, and a fascinating history. After the guided tour of the archaeological site , we'll enjoy a box lunch before returning to Santa Lucía. Finally , we will begin the hike back the same way we came . We will reach the trailhead  after  about one hour and a half of walking. Then we will return to Cusco,arriving around 6:00 pm .
