In themorning, at 7:30 am   we will pick you upfrom your hotel, then we head to the Sacred Valley of the Incas by the route ofChinchero. On the way, we will make a short stop in the town of Ollantaytamboto take photos and stretch our legs. Then, startdriving to Patacancha and from there we will take a dirt road going up themountains for a little over an hour.Uponarrival at Patacancha, the villagers will give us avery warm welcome with music, dances, and their typical costumes. Our nextdestination is the Alpaca farm of one of the local families. We will take alittle walk (about 20 minutes) to get to their alpaca barn where You will thenparticipate in the ancestral Tinka ceremony, where families thank Pachamama andbless their alpacas with flowers, ribbons, and coca leaves to ask for fertilityand protection.Theritual will finish at around noon, and we go back to the community to enjoy atypical Andean lunch prepared by the community: Pachamanca, cooked undergroundwith meat (chicken and beef), native potatoes, fava beans, corn, and Andeanherbs. Afterlunch, you will participate in everyday activities with the families ofPatacancha, such as:  Traditional WeavingWorkshop: Learn to spin and weave alpaca wool using natural dyes. OR   Traditional Medicine: Learnhow to use the Andean Medicinal Plants and their important role in daily life.Finishingour activities, we will return to our hotel in Sacred Valley or Cusco.return.
