For the Machu Picchu day tour, we will pick you up from your hotel around 4:00 am.Then, we will drive through the Sacred Valley heading to the train station in Ollantaytambo, where you will board the train to Aguas Calientes town, following the sacred Vilcanota River and passing by breathtaking landscapes and snowy peaks. At your arrival at Aguas Calientes train station your local guide will pick you up and you will take the 30-minute short bus ride to arrive at the entrance of the Inca Citadel of Machu Picchu. You will have a 2.5 hour guided tour about history, architecture and culture, where you will see all the most important areas of the archaeological complex through circuit 2 , like the viewpoints , the agricultural terrace , the Guard House , temples , ceremonial areas and other interesting places., with plenty of time to take amazing photos and relax while you enjoy the stunning views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. After the tour, you will take the bus back down to Aguas Calientes, where you can have lunch in one of the many restaurants (not included),Then you will board the train back to Ollantaytambo (in a train trip of 1:40 hrs), where our transport will be waiting for you and take you back to your hotel in Cusco,arriving around 7:30 to 8:00 pm.

If you can climb the Huayna Picchu mountain, you will need to purchase an additional ticket with circuit 3. It usually takes about two hours to complete it. Once you reach the top, you can see the entire Machu Picchu, the Lost City of the Incas.

If tickets for Machu Picchu Circuit 2 are sold out, we offer alternative routes, like Circuit 1 and 3. So, we strongly recommend all travelers secure their Machu Picchu trip as early as possible to get the best circuit and time slot,as access is limited.
